Product Description
RF-828 is a
medium viscosity liquid epoxy resin produced from bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin. It
is recognized as a standard form of epoxy resin and it contains no diluents.
RF-828 provides
good pigment wetting and good resistance to filler settling and a high level of
mechanical and chemical resistance properties in the cured state. However, as
an unmodified pure bisphenol A resin, RF-828 is prone to crystallize on
storage, particularly in cold conditions.
Chemical Composition:
Diglycidyl ether
of Bisphenol-A

Application
Direction
Electrical and
electronic industries (potting, casting, impregnating). Building and civil
engineering
industries (floorings, adhesives, mortars, grouts). Filament winding for
composites
solvent-free and high-solids coatings.
Packing
Normally packed
in 240kg iron drum or 1,000kg IBC tank.
Storage
RF-828 should be stored in
conditions so that moisture is excluded, preferably in the original containers kept
tightly closed. Under these conditions and at normal temperatures the storage life should be at
least one year. If RF-828 develops a
haziness or crystallize on storage, this can be
dispersed and the resin restored to its original condition by warming to 45~50℃, with stirring.
Handing precautions
Product may cause skin and eye
irritation. In cases of skin contact wash immediately with soap and water. For
eyes, flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention
immediately.
