    Product Description

    RFCTHERM-RP is a synthetic heat transfer fluid suitable in high temperature applicationsthe main constituent is Diaryl Alkyl(the Isomeric mixture of 1,2,3,4-tetrhydro-(1-phenylethyl)naphthalene).

    RFCTHERM-RP was designed for long life, non-fouling, low temperature pump-ability and low viscosity, any degradation of RFCTHERM-RP fluids that occurs under normal use conditions produce almost exclusively low boiling materials which vent from the system,therefore, high boiling sludges don't build up over time, it means that, under normal operating conditions, the fluid may never need to be changed out.the performance advantages of RFCTHERM-RP will be significant, it resists the effects of oxidation far better than Partial Hydrogenated Terphenyl(RFCTHERM-PHT350) and DBT(RFCTHERM-340) oils, it's degradation is also quite lower than RFCTHERM-PHT350 and RFCTHERM-340. You will get years of reliable, cost effective performance, even when operating your system continuously at 350. This means you do not have to over specify your fluid. It is miscible and interchangeable with other similarly constituted fluids, such as: Dowtherm-RP.
