Properties:

BP-8 isn’t soluble in water, can be soluble in toluene, methanol, ethyl alcohol.

Applications:

BP-8 has two O-hydroxyl groups in structure, so it is one of the strongest UV-absorbers. It absorbs the 330-370nm UV light strongly, but can also absorb some visible light and make the substrate be yellow. it has good compatiability with resins and PVC.the recommended dose is 0.25-3%, it has good stability for paint.
